Well, I've decided that from this point forward, the titles to my posts will no longer have anything to do with what's actually in the post. Judging from my last post, this should be effective. I write three pages of text, with the title of "I've got nothin'." Who knows? It just might work.
Posted by Johnny - Oh at May 6, 2004 11:54 PMI always start with a title, but it always gets changed after i finish writing the post. Stream of conciousness has a funny way of taking shape, leaving you with a certain taste in your mouth afterwards. Your title should smell like that taste...
PS: You dont compose in MT do you? No no, always write in textpad or something, and go to MT when its done.
Posted by: Marty at May 7, 2004 11:42 AMJohnny - Any attempt to reverse-psych Murphy's law like that will result in painfully infected butt-hair pus-pimples.
Trust me, it's JUST not worth it to mess with the forces of the universe like that :-/
Posted by: Harvey at May 7, 2004 11:52 AM"Butt-hair pus pimples?" Other people get those?
Posted by: maura at May 7, 2004 03:12 PMyeah I usually shower naked too. wearing your underwear Big-Brother-reality-TV-style just doesn't aid the process, know what I mean?
Oh. You just meant titles, didn't you...
Posted by: goldie at May 8, 2004 05:08 AMMarty : You caught me. Even though I've been warned time and again that this is a BAD THING (tm), I still feel more comfortable composing in MT. This goes along with my psychosis of putting Martin guitar strings on my Martin guitar, and putting Fender strings on my Fender. As for smelling and tasting, um, how do you do that?
Harvey: Luckily I already have infected butt-hair pus-pimples on my anterior regions, so I say "Murphy is my Bitch!"
Maura: Yup.
Goldie: Thank you Soooooo much for that comment. I first got a mental picture of a certain blonde from Oz all drenched, and lathering her T-shirt to death in the shower. THEN I got the picture sans t-shirt. I took the "Pepsi Challenge" with those two scenario's. Can you guess which one won out?
