Why not blog about it?

So, about insomnia. At Eric's last night, I managed to consume the better part of half of a 1.75mL bottle of bourbon. I drove home (a sixty five mile drive), which takes approximately one hour. Got here, and managed to stay up for another two and a half hours.

So I get to sleep somwhere between 2:30 and 3:00AM, and manage to show up for work at 7:00AM, on time and ready to go. The effects of the night didn't even really hit me until after I took my lunch, and actually stopped moving for an hour or so.

After that, the body aches started to set in, and I didn't want to do a damn thing. But. After I arived back to work, my coworker (and buddy) Chris takes his lunch. No biggie, I've got it handled. Then a truck full of "Mum's" arrived. 700 plants unloaded by "yours truly", and the body is starting to rebel. An hour later (after moving all the plants inside the actual facility), I get the honor and privelage of unloading another truck full of "Mum's" from another state. I belive the "plant count" was around the 500 mark. Once again, unloaded by me and me alone.

As you may have surmised, I'm tired. Here I am, typing into the blog, a synopsis of my previous day, and I have to be at work at 7:00AM again tomorrow. Pay particular attention to the "time stamp".

... I didn't mean to get so intense when discussing "retail".. but, it just chaps my ass when I feel that the "retailer" thinks they are more important than the "customer".. (I know that wasn't your point, but still...) anyway, I'm glad you came down.. another poolnight that was enjoyed... you are always more than welcome, John..

I'm so sorry you're having such a problem with sleep deprivation. I'm always reading new stuff so I'll pass it your way. Who knows, something might help!

BTW - I'd LOVE to be in on that retail conversation ya'll had. Being a mfg rep and having specialized in Mass/Club (even wrote some articles) I'd love to hear what all ya'll think. That would have been a blast!! Oh, and the drinking too. ;-)

Thanks, as always Eric, and never fear, I took no offense at the "intensity", I just call that a lively conversation. :^)

Tammi: Maybe I'll do a post on our discussion, but right now my internet connection has been tenueous, and I'm headed to the bar. Night.

I feel your pain. Sometimes it's damned tough to rally then next day. The bad news is that it gets more difficult as one ages. Take it from me.

Thanks Jim. I'm glad I've got something to lok forward to. ;^) I usually rally well, but something about the amiance of Eric's place makes me even worse, and I wouldn't change it for the world.

You know the saying "I'll get enough sleep when I'm dead"? All I can say is, I hope it doesn't come as soon as the predictions are.

Someone linked to an online test that showed what your predicted life span would be, and I came out at 65. Just to piss them off, I'll live until 65 and a half. That'll show 'em!
